Summary of 2026 Events
Event one on April 24th 2026 combined presentations from Dr Sharon Clancy, on her Leverhulme funded research, ‘Lost spaces, Untold Stories: The Vanishing World of Experimental Adult Education’; and contributions from Linda Shaw and Dani Bool on ‘The Co-operative College, Manchester and wider adult education landscapes’.
Event two on 30th October 2026 combined 15-minute presentations from Dr Nick Mahony contrasting grassroots activism with current government policy including ‘Pride in Place’; and Professor Marjorie Mayo who asked how we can learn from past government programmes.
